On November 1, the first Urban Rail Transit Intelligent Passenger Service (Ticketing) Seminar and the 20th Urban Rail Transit Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System Technology Application Seminar, with the theme “Smart-Green Integration Innovates Ticketing, In-Depth Service Welcomes the Future,” concluded successfully in Shenzhen. The meeting brought together metro owners from 32 cities, 20 design institutes, and nearly 150 industrial chain enterprises. As an industrial communication equipment and solutions provider, Huafei Technology was invited to participate. It engaged in in-depth discussions with industry peers on cutting-edge applications and service innovation models of rail transit AFC systems, contributing to industry consensus and jointly drawing a blueprint for development.

At the conference site, Huafei Technology prominently displayed highly reliable AFC system industrial network solutions and core communication equipment. With clear architectural diagrams and professional explanations, it attracted many attendees to stop and communicate, becoming one of the focal points of attention. Huafei Technology’s AFC system solution uses self-developed industrial switches as the core to build a multi-level network architecture covering from the clearing center and line centers to various metro stations. The scheme deploys Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches at each key node, establishing stable, high-speed data transmission channels, significantly improving the reliability, security, and maintainability of AFC system networks.

Currently, Huafei Technology’s product series have been successfully deployed and operate stably in AFC systems of many metro lines across the country, including Beijing Suburban Railway S1 Line, Fangshan Line, and Yizhuang Line; Shenzhen Metro Lines 4, 5, 7, 11, 16, and the AFC Cloud Management Platform and CLC Phase II project; Guiyang S1 Line; and Tianjin Line 4.
